‘Chickenbone’ jade snuff bottle
China, Qing dynasty, 1750-1820
A ‘chickenbone’ jade snuff bottle of tapered, rectangular form, standing on a foot rim and carved with a cylindrical neck with concave lip. Each main side finely incised and gilded with prunus accompanied by a two-line poem. The stone of opaque, greyish white colour. Bone stopper.
