Lacquer square tray with triangles

A lacquer tray of square format, supported on four bracket feet and with bevelled edges. The tray is lacquered with a decoration of triangles, alternating in direction and arranged around a central square. The triangles are painted in red and silver lacquer on a mottled black ground with green lines. The central square is painted in cream lacquer and surrounded by red and silver lines. The back has a slightly recessed centre and is completely covered in black lacquer. The tray has a wooden storage box.
