Sato Kazuhiko was born in Tokorozawa, Kanazawa prefecture, in 1947. Sato Kazuhiro graduated from the Tokyo University of Fine Arts with a bachelor’s degree in 1970 and a master’s degree in 1972. At university he studied under Fujimoto Nodo and Tamura Koichi. He is a prolific artist who held several solo exhibitions and exhibited overseas in New York in 1979, and in South Korea in 2001.
